The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has unveiled an application for service users to give feedback about the quality of services being rendered by Government Agencies at the nation’s airports.
The app, which is an initiative of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) was inaugurated on Friday at the E-Arrival of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
Speaking at the ceremony, Jumoke Oduwole, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Industry, Trade and Investment, noted that the move would improve efficiency and accountability.
“With this initiative, passengers and the general public can now register their complaints or commend the quality of services being rendered by government agencies at the airports.
“The application also gives assurance that such complaints will be attended to and resolved within 72hours, in line with the provisions of Executive Order 1 of the Federal Government of Nigeria,’’ she added.
According to her, it will also eliminate corruption in the Agencies’ service delivery, as customers now have a veritable and reliable tool to make their experiences known, while using their facilities.
She noted that the application was user-friendly and could be downloaded on any smart phone by visiting: www.PEBEC.support.
Oduwole, therefore, advised all Government Agencies to key into and support the initiative and also urged the general public to make use of the application to achieve its purposes.
The focal person of the FAAN PEBEC team, Olusola Awe, who spoke on behalf of FAAN and other agencies at the airport commended the initiative and thanked all agencies for supporting the project.
She noted that the facility would enhance the Ease of Doing Business in Nigeria and also help agencies to improve on their service provisions.
