The Ondo State Commissioner for Commerce, Industries and Co-operatives Societies, Timehin Adelegbe, has advised elite and other old students to assist their alma maters in addressing infrastructure decay in schools.
Adelegbe gave the advice in Akure, on Wednesday, when the management of Anglican Grammar School, Okeluse, Ose Local Government Area of the state paid him a courtesy visit.
Adelegbe is one of the pioneer students of the school, established in 1975.
‘‘If all elite and stakeholders can go back to their alma maters, especially the ones created by government and maintain them, things will be better in the education sector,” he said.
The commissioner stated that his advice became necessary because government could not fund the development of education alone. He expressed his determination to assist the school within his resources, whenever the need arose.
